Rock legend Paul Rodgers of legendary rock bands Free & Bad Company is one of the greatest rock vocalist in rock history despite being an average frontman even though he seems to be to be forgotten for some reason next to Robert Plant & Steven Tyler. His distinctive vocals are the reason why rock classics like All Right Now, Can't Get Enough, Good Lovin Gone Bad, Burning Sky, Feel Like Makin Love & Rock & Roll Fantasy are timeless. Free & Bad Company deserve to be inducted into the RNRHOF more than any 80's rock bands like Def Leppard, Motley Crue & Bon Jovi because they were bluesy, ballsy & melodic with Paul Rodgers as a member.

I always dug The Firm. And his Muddy Waters tribute cd. And Live For The Music, which Van ROTH covered in the magnificent club days.

A Chris Robinson cover/jam band covered Free's Walk In My Shadow in the mid or late 90's--awesome version of a great tune nah nah...I'm a huge Free fan, and of Bad Co.--the original lineup sho' nuff'...

I saw PAUL RODGERS about 3 years ago at an outdoor festival in Pontiac MICHIGAN. His voice is PERFECT, not changed or raveged by age and time. He sounded like he was 20, not 50+. FREE were an AWESOME band, and BAD CO. were very cool. I highly recomend going and checking him out to ALL ARMY members!!!!

Great singer who deserves more credit and attention than what he gets. Both Free and Bad co rock and should be mentioned in the same category as led zep, who floyd etc etc but somehow always seem forgotten. Till this day i can not help getting heavy on the pedal when a free or bad co tune comes on

Great song for a rock n roll road trip- bad co`s movin on

I swear to God he needs to put a bibliography at the end of his posts.

This may be so, but he has a point. I saw Paul for the first time in my life about 10 years ago, and he kicked so much ass it was amazing!

Anyone who wants to see how he is currently need only go to the bootleg corner and find the videos of him and Queen this past November. He is quite impressive!

Rodgers has been living somewhere in the Seattle area and playing solo shows around this area for a few years now. There's no doubt the guy's still got a great voice and deserves respect for the three bands he fronted, even though The Firm were doomed from the start because Page was totally fucked up at the time.

But all of that said, I still think this Pseudo-Queen tour is a bad move. I'd rather see Rodgers at the Emerald Queen casino singing his own stuff than in a stadium mangling Freddie's songs.

Rodgers is a great vocalist, Bad Company and Free were both excellent bands.

Have to agree with Ford about the Queen tour, he should stick to his own stuff, he doesnt need to go off with them.
