Being a waffle.

Being a flip-flop.

Being Ghengis Chan.

Being a champion medal/ribbon thrower.

Being a dildo to rich women.

Other than those....hmmmmmm, nothing he hasn't changed his mind a couple of times won't cure!

The point is, if Kerry actually stood firm for something, one of us would have heard of it by now...

We know he went to Viet Nam...

We know he's a senator...

Oh, I know.. he voted against almost every weapon system currently in use today...

That's what he stands for.. military cuts. Just like Bill Clinton...

No thanks...

Let me rephrase that....

Defense cuts were began under GEORGE BUSH SR'S administration, at the advice of then Defense Secretary DICK CHENEY. In fact the cuts that Poppy began and Clinton continued never went as far as what Uncle Dick had proposed. And while I rarely agree with BCE decisions, this one made sense. The cold war was over, and the US had no realistic enemies.

Except for the ones the BCE themselves created, as it would turn out.

I haven't watched John Kerry loot rape and pillage this planet since 1981. That's probably why

Mezro...yes, it really comes down to the "anybody but Bush" way of thinking for many voters...

It's been FOUR days now and not one liberal has come out with a straight response to the question and it's added stip I asked Ford "What does John Kerry stand for TO YOU?"

Granted, Ford has done his usual song and dance redirection routine, but nobody else has an opinion about the guy you back? Really?

You want my vote WHY?

Sorry I missed this one, but Elvis got it right. I wasn't pegging you hard-left at all. I was simply saying you don't share much company other than the hard left on that issue. And more importantly for your cause, it ain't enough to win an election.

Really, Kerry stands for nothing. You're not going to replace an incumbant by simply offering an "anybody but" candidate. Even Bob Dole actually had a platform to run on, but it was weak. And I thought it was a huge mistake to run him. I think all he was was pretty much an "Anybody but Clinton" candidate, and you saw how that went.

Dole didn't really inspire people to change horses (and we certainly weren't smack dab in the middle of a war). Kerry inspires people even less. Even his own party is starting to realize what a mistake it was to get behind the Kerry ticket. And as you've seen by this thread, even the hard-left has a hard time coming up with reasons to vote for Kerry (other than "he's not Bush").

ELVIS

The hard left has more reasons not to vote for Kerry, but they don't like to discuss that...:D

here is what he says he stands for:
http://www.johnkerry.com/plan/
Restore America's Respect in the World and Make us Independent of Mideast Oil
To secure our full independence and freedom, we must free America from its dangerous dependence on Mideast oil. By tapping American ingenuity, we can achieve that goal while growing our economy and protecting our environment. Kerry-Edwards will create a new energy and conservation trust fund to accelerate the development of innovative technologies, such as more efficient cars and trucks, the development of biofuels, and creating clean, secure, hydrogen-based energy. Kerry-Edwards will also expand the supply of natural gas, assure 20% of electricity comes from renewable sources by 2020, and make clean coal part of our energy solution.

Reward Companies that Create Jobs in America.
The Kerry-Edwards plan will end tax breaks for companies that move jobs overseas and use the savings to reduce the corporate tax rate by 5 percent, cutting taxes for 99 percent of corporations. The Kerry-Edwards plan also includes a New Jobs Tax Credit for new hiring in manufacturing, other businesses affected by outsourcing, and small businesses

Invest in the Jobs of the Future.
To keep America competitive for the future, a Kerry-Edwards administration will invest in research and technology and provide tax credits to unleash innovation in broadband, energy and small business. They will also provide a tax credit on up to $4,000 for each of four years of college tuition. And they will work for responsible immigration laws that honor America's promise and strengthen America's economy and security.

Ok, then for WHAT reason would I vote for him? I'm willing to be open here, but I need better, more valid reasons than A. He isn't Bush or B. Any BCE Ford/Satan rants.

Looking for logical, rational reasons why I should honestly consider him for this job.

JOHN KERRY "DISSED!" CAR DUNKED

KERRY DISSED, CAR DUNKED
by: G.Marnier - SatireNewsService

http://www.strangecosmos.com/images/content/11764.jpg

When word reached members of the United States military who were preparing to set sail for Iraq, that presidential hopeful Sen. John Kerry was holding a meeting in Norfolk prior to his campaign swing through Virginia, members of the Navy SEALS went into action.

An outspoken critic of the war in Iraq, Kerry is considered by many in the military to be aiding and abetting the followers of Saddam and prolonging the Iraqi fighting with his anti-war remarks in the same way the Hollywood Weasels; media types Dan Rather, Peter Jennings, Ted Turner, Peter Arnett and Lesley Stahl; fellow politicians Sens. Robert "KKK" Byrd, Patty "Osama Mama" Murray and Ted Kennedy, Reps. Nancy Pelosi, Dennis Kucinich, and ex President Jimmah Carter and Jesse Jackson are.

Upon finding Sen. Kerry's car which was parked illegally at the Naval Base officer's club while he was having lunch in Norfolk, the SEALS had it hoisted aboard the carrier where the operations officer decided to use the car to test the ship's new launching apparatus.

Speaking off the record, a Marine Colonel said: "I remember when Kerry came back from Viet Nam and started his radical anti-war protesting along with "Hanoi" Jane Fonda and former U.S. Attorney General Ramsey Clark. His smart assed, self aggrandizing statements are only outdone by draft dodging Clinton and that car's launching is an expression of how we who serve and protect our nation feel about deep-sixing anything that reminds us of what liberals have tried to do the the armed forces. A pox on all their houses."
