ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Sen. John Kerry is about to make the rounds on the talk shows.

He's been booked for interviews on "Dr. Phil," "Live with Regis and Kelly" and "The Late Show with David Letterman."

A Kerry spokeswoman said it's being done to reach out to people "who might not be paying attention just to nightly news." His campaign hopes it will also impress upon viewers that Kerry likes the same things as other Americans -- sports, family, jokes and fast food.

Kerry's interview with Dr. Phil McGraw was taped this past weekend and will also feature Teresa Heinz Kerry. McGraw has already taped a show with President George W. Bush and the First lady that will air later.

So when is Dave, Regis, and The Daily Show going to have Bush on?

When's the last time you saw John Kerry at a McDonalds?

His wife Theresa looked like she had never been in a Wendy's before, when Edwards and his wife were having their 'anniversary dinner'.

probably up to the president. it'd be a ratings bonanza. i highly doubt any of them would turn him down.

It was reported that they threw the Wendy's food away when the cameras went off...

dude, Wendy's food is pretty good. MickeyD fries are sinfully delicious, but I like Wendy's.

Yes, Wendy's has pretty good food.

The saltier the fries, the better. That's why McD's wins that one hands down.

I find nothing wrong with that.

You don't ??

Then why did they order food from there on camera ??

I have a problem with that!

They were acting like politicians and acting like they're supposed to.

What's wrong with that?

What you just said is wrong, aside from the "acting" part...

They should have eaten it!

Clinton would have...;)

And now he's almost like Dick Cheney.

That's what happens if you eat at Wendys.

I remember when Dave had Bush on during the 2000 campaign. There was a mysterious delay (I'd understand one if the guy was in Austrailia but they were in the same country) and Letterman wouldn't let him answer and made him look stupid (yeah I know, not hard right libs?).

So I'd see no reason for Bush to go back to Letterman and get ambushed again.

Hmmmm, Bush attended Harvard, Letterman did not...who's the stupid guy again?

Kerry is fucking up by avoiding real shows to address real issues. that fucker is doing nothing but wasting time hoping not to have to talk seriously and risk blowing the election.

Yeah, i'd much rather vote for a guy who would rather read a Top 10 list on Letterman than talk serious issues on a reputable news show, or is that what he thought Jon Stewart was?

I'd much rather have a focused President with the spine to lead this country in a time of war than know whether he likes -- sports, family, jokes and fast food.

I personally think that Bush is the only one doing what he should be doing. Kerry is only catering to the Hollywood Elite that most of us cannot even relate to, we aren't rich enough.

Kerry is avoiding the serious media if you haven't noticed.
What am i saying, of course you haven't noticed or you'd be voting for Bush this year.

Remember, Kerry said Whoopie Goldberg represented America!

what's with you and the cheap shots today?

Warham

I don't know if you are talking to me, but nothing I have said is a cheap shot. Kerry did say those in Hollywood represented America at it's finest. It would make sense...most of them go windsurfing in Nantucket on their vacations as well.

John Kerry is losing it day by day with his political rhetoric in poll after poll against George W. Bush so appearing on TV shows won't matter anyway in November.

I love it.

On MSNBC, a liberal news network website, they have a poll: Who would you vote for if the election were held this week?

The results of 173,175 polled.

George W. Bush 59%

John Kerry 39%

Ralph Nader 2%

Kerry lives in a bubble apparently, because last i checked it wasn't "America's Finest" in Hollywood that pays a majority of the tax in this country, it's the blue collar worker that keeps the machine running.

Now if he wants to rephrase that to "America's Finest Immoral Jack-offs" then i can agree with him.

Oh and by the way, why did Barbara Striesand only give Kerry $1,000.00 for his campaign? She doesn't seem to support him like she did Al Gore who she gave $25,000.00 to when he ran.

Or maybe she just knows it's a waste of her money, lol.

Viva La Bush in '04!
