Although I'm not a very big fan, Jimi should win. I know a lot of guitarists today who just dismiss him as overrated. But, he was so far ahead of his time in terms of technique and skill.

Stevie is to Jimi as Keith is to Chuck Berry.
Stevie might have been a guitarist without Jimi's influence, but he would have been a much different style of player. As would all the others in the Austin musical scene who were in turn influenced by SRVEat Us And Smile
