Tech 21 Sansamp RBI

Thinking of buying this thing, would like some input/opinion from someone who already has one, if possible.

Although specific guitar preamps, I have the PSA-1 (rack) and the GT2 (pedal) preamps, and they are fantastic. Great variety of sounds, great presets, easy to tweak presets and store, vey solid build. Great for live and, in particular, recording work - a great palette of amp sounds, even straight in to the desk.

Tech 21 make quality gear in this respect.

My mate just bought the pedal version of the RBI (Bass Driver DI) and he swears by it, best $$$ he ever spent. He plays / records / rehearses 4-5 times a week and it is now an integral part of his rig.

Never played one myself but I've heard someone else playing through one and it sounded killer!
