I had exactly one save, which came today. Gagne hasn't had a save in over a week.

I haven't tallied up today's totals but it's interesting--thru today I was winning all the offensive categories, and the Clams were winning all the pitching categories. Although Ponson got me a complete game just in the nick of time, so hopefully I can come out on top at 6-5-1 assuming I held my lead in all the offensive categories.

I had to at least have Johnson, the "Rockie Factor" I call it. Couldn't do Santiago. I thought he might be hedging on Brown when he made his counter, then before he could re-do his deal, I had in my mind that I would go as far as Hudson, but didn;t want to.

Haven't had Hudson long enoough to benefit, and so I'm hoping I won't miss him as much as I might have. A-Rod is starting to find his groove, but I like Rolen and have him on my other teams.

He may have the slightest edge in this deal, but to me, it's would only be slight, and what the hell, I'm at the bottom and now have A-Rod.

in a head to head, you can get roasted by the transaction mongers that inflate their totals by picking up guys every day...I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that in the least...it's smart...but when you are footing a bill and can't be on 24 hours a day...it's just to damn tough...
