Note to future Democrat presidential candidates: It doesn't pay to parrot false, treasonous hearsay in congressional "testimony" that communists exploit to torture American POWs.
(And it probably didn't help when Al Gore's mob of lawyers tried to exclude servicemembers' ballots in 2000.)
Yet another new poll shows that members of the military and their families overwhelmingly would trust President Bush over Sen. John Kerry as commander in chief.
The National Annenberg Election Survey released today showed that 69 percent trusted Bush more, and only 24 percent trusted Kerry more.
Not surprisingly, 43 percent of the military sample said they were Republican, 27 percent described themselves as independent and only 19 percent were Democrat.
The poll did not ask the respondents who they supported for president because of a 1948 law that bans asking servicemen such questions. But draw your own conclusions.
