Bass POD vs. Bass V-Amp

Hey folks. I was just wondering if anyone has used a Bass V-Amp. It goes for about 100 bucks vs. 300 bucks for a Bass POD.

I have a guitar POD and I love it, but do you really need a ton of effects for a bass? I'm just not sure if a POD is really worth it when your talking about the bass. Then again, maybe I'm just ignorant!

Depends on how deep you're into bass tones or not.

If you're satisfied with the same tone you can get with the guitar pod and a graphic EQ I wouldn't bother, since you're not a bass player.
