interest in Carlos Beltran, Carl Povano, Matt Clement, Matt Morris, Derrick Lowe and..........................ugghhh! Pedro Martinez.

I think Kenny Lofton, John Olerud, Ruben Sierra( if they get Beltran), Felix Heredia, will all be gone. If they could deal Giambi and Quantrill, I think they would, maybe Kevin Brown too! On dealing Giambi, (and if they get Belatran) I have heard that Bernie Williams may play first base...

I read an even up trade for brown & sosa.
also read Giambi's thinking of retiring.
Beltran may stay in Houston according to espn sources..

there was talk of getting Carlos Delgado from Toronto... dont know the particulars, but that could involve Giambi, Brown or both... this is just rumor, names I have heard mentioned here and there...I believe Giambi's and Browns contracts are up at the end of the 05 season so they may look to move them.

As for Beltran, of course he is gonna say he'd like to stay in Houston. George wants him bad, so it drives the price up even more. I figure if the yanks sign him, it would be about an 8 year, 150 million dollar deal.

RBW, the Cubs front office should shoot themselves by agreeing to a Brown/Sosa deal....

There aren't exactly many teams willing to get Sosa, but they could get a better return than that....

Beltran can talk all he wants about staying in Houston....

Here's a bit of advice: Don't hold your breath.... ;)

Its all but over in Houston, i agree..with Boras as his agent, i see
him selling out to the highest bidder, which he does deserve.
Id like to see him stay in the NL. ill probabally be wrong.

the yanks also are looking heavily at Brad Radke. Carlos Delgado is interested in the Yankees. George might need to sell a few Naval Destroyers this winter to pay these guys.

Heard on espn radio, they want Rany Johnson in the worst way..
thats their 1st move this offseason.
Looks like Jeff Kent aint gonna be back, nor Moises Alou.
Percival will be the top PR this offseason, i heard Aneheim
doesnt want him either. Knucklheads-

I've heard the Mets are working on a Sosa deal, for who I have no fucking idea....

Also heard the Cards are after Randy Johnson....

And the Bucs aren't after anyone.... Oops, sorry, no small-market talk, or else Principal Pojo will lecture me again.... ;)
