Audioslave Your Take

[DLRdelight!]

Wlel i was listening to their album today, which i have not heard in a long time. Now i am a die hard rage fan and without a shadow of a doubt audioslave is obviously no rage, but these guys arent as bad as i thought they were back when they first came out. They actually have pretty good tunes. Has anyone else ever taken a listen?

I listened to a few tracks, wasn't impressed...out of a Soundgarden/Rage combination, I expected a lot more.

I really like it, I was hooked on it for a long time, I can't wait for the next one.
Great singer, great lyrics, and a unique band. It's a good sound.

Soundgarden = Good

Audioslave = Chris NEVER stops to take a breath and sings over every note, and if the guitarist ever gets a "solo" it sounds like he's wanking on it.

i'm expecting a lot more from the second album they'll hopefully make, when it's less obvious which song was written by chris and which by tom...but i love the album anyway.

Yeha i kind of expected more out of rage and soungarden mixed together also, but we got something completely different

I never did get to see rage live and they are like 2nd on my list of favorite bands, since i discovered vh

Tom does need to pick it up on the solos. He should do more solos like the one on take the power back off the rage self titled, but then that was rage
