I have to say my favourite is Fair Warning. My least is 5150.

WACF would be my second favourite. That is classic VH - raw and powerful. Good CD to crank up.
Out of all the Van Hagar ones, I really hate 5150. Some good riffs on there, but that's it.

if I have to judge the "other" ones...ou812 is the biggest peice of crap they ever put out! period!

It goes:
1-Van Halen
2-1984
3-Fair Warning
4-Women And Children First
5-Van Halen 2
6-Diver Down
7-Best of Vol. 1 (because of new tracks)
8.Van Halen 3 (because Spammy is nowhere to be found)
9.All Spammy's albums (which also appear in the Worst Albums Ever chart)

Yeah, that album sounds like it was recorded using a Fisher Price - My First Microphone, for fuck sakes. Some good guitar riffs, but there is no bass on it, and some of those lyrics....right up there with UFB.

Oh wait, NOTHING can compare to the hack work done on UFB. That could have been a really good song.

I thought I was alone on that one. WACF was pretty disappointing. A real drop down from I & II. The only songs that I feel are classics are “And the Cradle Will Rock,” “Everybody Wants Some,” and “In a Simple Rhyme.”

My rankings

1. Van Halen I - The closest thing to a perfect album.
2. Fair Warning
3. 1984
4. Van Halen II
5. Two classics from 96.
6. WACF
7. Diver Down

Diver Down was a really big let down. Too many cover tunes!! You gots to have Dave’s wit and wisdom in the lyrics. The original material doesn’t have any balls to it either. I can’t believe that DD sold more than the legendary Fair Warning!

My favorite Uncle is Carmine. Just thought I'd share that. You have better taste in music, though. ;)

VAN HALEN
Fair Warning
Van HALEN I
Van HALEN II
WACF
Diver Down
2 new songs on BOV1 - 1996
1984 - ranked lowest because of the synthesizers, and because I'm fucking sick of Jump and Panama.

Van Hagar
5150 - Half of the album is listenable - except for the lyrics
FUCK - About the same. A couple good musical performances here, ruined by the singer and lyrics
Balance - too much of a FUCK retread, best exemplified by writing new lyrics for Poundcake and releasing it again as 7th Seal.
OU812 - Shit lyrics. Shittier synths. Shittiest production.

Van Danniels III - don't get me started on this embarrassment.

3 new Van Hagar songs this year - even worse than VDIII, and that's quite an achievement in suckiness!

Van Halen only made 6 CDs.

Of those 1984 or Fair Warning is the best.

Diver Down is easily the worst, although it has Van Halen's best song: Little Guitars.

WACF has great songs:

Fools, Romeo Delight, In a Simple Rhyme, Could This Be Magic

Are you on crack?
