No astonishment at how both Roth's and Van Halen Du Jour's sales dwindled with each new release.

That classic Van Halen lineup will eclipse anything else those guys do for all time. Inevitable. Halen is bigger than any of them on their own. Musically, financially, any way you slice it. Always will be.

Why bother fighting it? Roth, the Van Halens and Anthony should just put it back together. What's the point of waiting? Fuck the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Just get out there and do it.

Any time people post sales figures they always seem to be just for the US.

You have to factor in that Dave did better than Van Hagar in Europe.

Also the first 6 VH albums outsold the Hagar ones.

It's all immaterial in a way given how many albums Celine Dion sells anyways anyhow.

The frightening thing is there is probably a big crossover in the demographic that bought Dion and Van Hagar!

They are called NORMAL people. Joe Average and his wife Delores who only dance when they're embarrassing themselves at a wedding. Joe drives a white car because it takes more time to clean on Saturday mornings in suburbia after his weekly sex with Delores.

Delores is 200 lbs and works in Wal Mart. They have 2.4 children(the 0.4 is the retarded one) and think Sammy Hagar is the ultimate rock star.

Hitch fucked Delores last week when Joe was out at the bowling...
