Obama (unlike Bush) is an actual "uniter not divider" type, so I doubt he would have put it like that.

It's more like "If you would have voted Bush out of office, you would have openly rejected his fuckup of a war. But since enough of you voted for him to give him a slim majority, you have just validated his war, and every mistake he has made"

Of course the above explanation assumes an honest election.

Which I am NOT assuming at this point.

How do you support them? What do YOU do to support them? Send them a care package with some tough-actin' tinactin and a couple of Playboys? (if you actually do send troops care packages and shit then good for you sincerely)

Seems to me, the best way to support our troops would be to do our part as citizens and vote for politicians that have their best interests at heart.

Those troops are my people, my generation, my friends out there on the line. Cannon Fodder. I got to watch the Steelers game yesterday with a friend who has been deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq already. Thank God he's all in one piece. Physically at least. Who knows what he saw.

You bush voters doomed this whole generation to warfare. It didn't need to be this way.

I don't ever want to see you post that you support our troops again.
I guarentee that if you made a statement like that in the presence of a soldier, he'd probably beat you to death.

With this post you became a sad individual, and quite self centered too.

You are a citizen of this country, so it IS your war as well.

You are a prime example of a person who doesn't deserve the freedoms this country grants you. Lucky for you this isn't a dictatorship or you would be missing a tongue, or fingers and other various body parts.

Oh wait... The White House will have to catch on fire before Junya realizes it actually is his mess.

You forgot Donald "Rummy" Rumsfeld who hopes to "transform" the military back to the mid-1960's. Just like McNamera transformed us into Vietnam.

And pretty soon, under the Republicans, we'll have a conscript Army. Don't worry, once attrition of the all-voluteer froce begins in a couple of years, we'll have no choice but to institute a draft. Besides, I think involutarily extending people is a backdoor draft. But you wouldn't know much about that having never served in the armed forces, huh sunshine?
