Although it's been on a terrible decline in the past few years, the Simpsons will always be the best to me.

The Office is fantastic, but I think it's only an Englsih thing at the moment. I heard that they were making an American one but it would lose the characters and the style with different people. Ricky Gervais is fantastic, in The Office and stand up.

Family Guy is fantastic too :D

If you have the TV Land channel, it's on quite a bit. And yep, it, I mean we were far ahead of the time.

the best has to be on Dave TV,
its a thread called "The Front Line".
the story line goes something like this:

there's this moderator who goes by the
name of FORD (Focused On Republican Decisiveness)
who rambles on daily about outrageously
stupid stuff like republican conspiracies
and shit. its SO FUCKING HILARIOUS!
you can even interact with the show by
logging on and bringing FORD out of
his delusional world and help him swallow
a big dose of mainstream society's reality.

Married with children. Al Bundy is god. The man spoke from the heart and told it like it was. Plus who can forget Kelly Bundy and you know Peggy was kinda hot as well. Bud Bundy every guy who went thru that awkward stage in life could relate with him trying to build his cred with the ladies.

Threes company, Everybody loves Raymond, Will and Grace, Frasier, Cheers, George lopez. The Cosby show all good shows but Married with Children pushed the envelope.

Exactly!

All in the Family was SO completely ahead of its time. Can you imagine any of todays sitcoms dealing head on with bigotry, racism, child abuse, alcoholism, politics, rape, religion, gun control, and god knows what else?

And doing it all in a dramatic fashion, but being able to turn the most gut-wrenching, heart-breaking moments into gut-busting, laugh out loud hilarity in the next? This is about the only TV show - drama or sitcom - that has ever made a tear well in my eye. and it's also the only one that has caused milk to rush out of my nose. and a stellar group of actors too (aside from sally struthers)

(and isn't it amazing how back in the day sally struthers was considered close to a sexual ICON? BRRRRRRRRRR!!!!)

But my own personal favourite is Curb Your Enthusiasm. That guy's so Jewish it makes me laugh.

Does anyone remember Dark Shadows? It use to run on the Sci-Fi channel, but they have taken it off the air. Barnabas Collins the reluctant vampire.... It ran in the early 70's.
