View Full Version : My windows media player is a piece of fucking shit.

I have had it with my windows media player.

At first, it was all kewl 'cause it looked like some fucking sooper-conducter or some shit.

Those days have long since passed and I'd like to strangle the life out of whoever is plinking the buttons in sillycone valley.

I'm thinking porn has nothing to do with it.....the pathetic thing seems like a track and field champion when you feed it that shit.

I'll give that validation in a bit, but the current jits and stutters involving enjoying my 70's pop radio station are inexcusable.

OK, It's working again now but If this thing fucks up ELO it's on like donkey kong.

Did you upgrade to the new version 10? It's a bit more stable than 9.

10 is absoloute crap it acts more like a downgrade then an upgrade.

Forget WMP...download MusicMatch Jukebox...it's more versitle and user-friendly.

That's just my opinion, you never know you might prefer 10. I certainly didn't I use the newest version of winamp so I don't use WMP anymore except to burn cds!

I've never had a problem with it, and found it very useful when converting from MP3 to WAV....which is great for burning cd's.

:D Real Player plays video better than WMP! I couldn't even play the boots here on WMP. My sister suggested RP and I've been a happy camper. It also webcasts live radio better than WMP.

I don't even use WMP anymore!

Real Player is a bit better for video in my experience, but not by much.

I like Match for burning/converting tunes, but not much else.

For my money, WinAmp is by far the best music player out there. I can EQ to my hearts content, it runs smooth as silk, and for stable playback of streaming audio it flat blows away the rest.

Even the free download is loaded.

I'm guessing its that Windows Media Management thing - its sole purpose is to damage your media files that it thinks is infringing.
