View Full Version : Would you support a third party Dean/McCain ticket

Howard Dean and John McCain appear to have a good deal in common. Both are centrist candidates fed up with the corporatists who have taken over their parties. Both have experienced severe character assassinations at the hands of their own party establishment. And both were far better choices than the corporatist puppets selected by their respective party bosses.

Third party tickets as a rule seem to favor the incumbent, but I believe this matchup could be the exception, drawing votes from the entire political spectrum.

Damn Ford, I can't help but think that you would actually be happier in another country, like Canada maybe?

Politics have been fucked longer than you or i have even been alive and i don't think the way you let this shit get to you is healthy.

Have you taken your blood pressure lately?

I'd bet it's as high as mine if not higher...

I don't think a ticket with McCain would ever happen. However, the independent thing is entirely possible. I still think though, that Dean is a corporate shill. He couldn't have gotten to the top of the Dem heap (even for a little while) any other way.

Only if they use charts and graphs, like Perott

That's a possibility, if we get another 4 years of fascist criminals in the White House - regardless of which party their frontman claims to be.

I don't expect politicians to be saints. But I DO expect them not to commit treason against this country, and the BCE has done that repeatedly since the 1930's, and it's damn time people stopped ignoring that reality.

Right now it probably is, but only because I didn't get much sleep last night and had to drink a whole pot of coffee to make up for it. I had cut myself down to 2 cups a day. Now that I'm bak on the low carb thing and not eating much processed food, my sodium intake will be way down, which should be good for the blood pressure :)

What would you call a fiscal conservative with an A+ rating from the NRA?

A "bleeding heart liberal"??

Which taxes didn't Dean raise as governor? I believe I've posted his resume as Gov. here before, no?

I think a Rumsfeld/Gingrich ticket would rule! It'd be a shoo-in...

I would vote for McCain, but not Dean.

"Mr. President, Give-Me-A-Break!"

I agree with McCain that the Bush Budget is so full of pork it oinks...
I cannot believe some of the waste it contains when we have so many more deserving and universally beneficial programs to invest in.
How about more money for research to cure Diabete's, MD, MS, and other neurological disorders?
No, we spend Millions of Federal Dollars to wire a vagina to study sexuality?

It's working on being a tough choice for me wih this kind of shit going on.

This is probably like stating that the sky is blue, but I'm not a fan of McCain. Like him on defense, don't like him on domestic issues. He's far too liberal for me. Like I've mentioned probably countless times now, I'm for the politician that promises me nothing. If someone would run on the platform of keeping government out of the citizen's daily lives I'd be out on the campaign trail with them! National defense and Judge appointments only please. Anything else is un-Constitutional.

I have no idea, but i'd be careful what i wish for just like the people who want to be gynocologist's.
Ya gotta take the good with some really really bad, lol.

It pisses me off because that is something that i feel should be funded by the private sector.
Foundations for disease have to operate on donations while a sexuality test gets funded by the Federal Government.

That just burns my ass in a big way because it is an issue that involves me personally.

They attach sensors to the vagina and then let the women watch porn to register what excites them.
Bush has proposed $50 million to this program.
I find it insulting and a slap in the face to a large number of disabled in this country.
I mean just think about it. If they were to dump as much as they can into medical research to cure some of these neurological disorders that incapacitate so many people, just think of how much money could be saved by getting them back on their feet and into the workforce and off of Disability.

It just doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever...
