In lieu of the current grandfather's ghost marketing going on, ( the story of which was featured on CNN ) I began to wonder if I had any ghosts haunting me to sell. I realized that the only real ghost that plagues, haunts and torments me to no end is that of my own personal past!
If I could only sell this past and personify it in some symbolic way, then I could really move on unencumbered and go on to fulfill my greater destiny. I want very much to become a working visual artist, still my percieved need for 'security' along with the adopted misconception that artists must be starving has so far prevented me from mustering the courage to pursue this route. This fear manifests in the form of working odd jobs and selling jewelry to make ends meet, I now realize that it is not my 'true' purpose on this earth. I feel that on some level I blame my past experiences for my own present insecurities that enslave me to continue on with my current path. Like many people I was born into an economically challenged environment, I was ousted out of the High School for the Arts and ended up in one of the toughest most violent schools in Baltimore city. I never again recieved any kind of artistic training. I come from a long line of highly creative people, none of whom have ever truly believed in themselves enough to conquer their fears and pursue their real artistic dreams. I have come to understand that I have unconsciously accepted these limiting beliefs for the better part of my little long life. I really must find the courage to move on!

I feel I have talent & a strong desire to be successful, somehow and someway. All I lack now is the time and funds to pursue my dream with.

In selling the ghost of my past self I will then 'give up the ghost' that prevents me from seeing myself as an artist. I will take it as a sign from the universe to go forward into my new future and pursue artwork full time.

I will be able to tell my Self that my past ghost is now living with you, and if you feel like writing a letter to my present self to such effect that is completely up to you, but it would of course be well recieved.

I lost my Imaginary Friend to an imaginary auto accident. I have his ghost with me and, since I am getting married soon, my girlfriend has told me that he needs to go to someone else so they too can enjoy his company.

He will come with his own "security blanket" (which also turns into a pillow...its called a quillo) so he should be no trouble. (I have attached a picture of his blanket because taking a picture of him, no matter what settings I use on the camera, has been impossible!) He is cute and he does have a nice smile though!

Tube firm scours eBay for parts
One of the firms maintaining the London Underground is having to buy spare parts on auction website eBay because the equipment is so old.

Tubelines, the consortium which manages the Jubilee, Northern and Piccadilly lines, has bought computer cards, old chips and other equipment which is now out of stock.

Company officials said they had resorted to the internet because some of the signalling system on the Tube was so old.

"We need to make sure we have appropriate supplies," said a spokesman. "In some cases we have cloned equipment but where parts and other pieces of equipment are out of stock we will buy them."

Some of the items already bought on eBay were 10 to 20 years old, it was revealed.

"It highlights the need to upgrade the system," added the spokesman for Tubelines, which is made up of Amey, Bechtel and Jarvis.

A problem with cab radios continued to cause huge delays for travellers on the Northern line today, with services cut by up to 40%.

The ageing cab radio system is due to be replaced next year.

Up for bids is an actual Mummified cat. It was found under a foundation of a 300 year old former school house in Cario NY. It is in good condition and the skin has a tough leather feel. It has its mouth open because its last moments were in extreme pain as a rock trapped it under the foundation. It stayed there for around and estimated 150-200 years. This is a very rare find and in good condition. It still has a few whiskers and its teeth are in very good shape. I can't be sure but it seems to be a siamese cat from the bone structure and the short stub tail. If you have any questions please feel free to email me anytime.
