would iraq be better if it was controlled by a US regime?

or would it be better if the US left and it was controlled by a terrorist regime?

Yes, as an AMerican "Liberal," I support Osama. I send care packages to Iraqi insurgents that are wrapped up in a burned American flag!

By the way in case your education has serious lapses in it, I am being IRONIC:

The only ones stupid around here are the Busheep who buy this bullshit about Osama having anything to do with these insurgents.

Ever see Red Dawn?

That's who the fucking insurgents are. A bunch of pissed off Iraqi rednecks who don't like their country being occupied. Sucks to be on the wrong side of that, but that's the whole point, isn't it?

We had no business being there in the first goddamn place.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you've let your Mensa dues lapse.

And if we stay when does paradise begin?

Mission Accomplished?

If you believe that there is ANY link between OBL and what is happening in Iraq, well then you're even dumber than this thread indicates, and you're clearly not worth the keystrokes.

Thanks Lounge. That may not be true, but at least I don't have my head firmly surrounded by my sphincter!

I have no idea what you are talking about. Maybe i am actually a moderate, but i have yet to hear an actual Liberal say anything to that affect. Don't confuse questioning the stupidity of gov't policy with support for Iraqi insurgents!

dude, the first statement was sarcasm. (well, actually, so was the second.)

i was trying to point out that if someone IS going to assume that opposing the war actually means the opposing party is supporting the insurgents, then why can't i say that conservatives who oppose welfare for mothers with children actually hate the kids?

mind you, i don't think either is true. but that's the whole point.
