Panamark...Oz burnin again this summer?

Hey Panamark hows it going? So are there crazy wildfires in Australia again this summer, or do they usually happen closer to autumn?

G'day PA !

This is our bushfire season now, but so far we have only had a few small ones. (Touch wood) We have been in drought
most of last year so heaven forbid if a big one starts up.
Where Im living now is quite close to some bush. Theres probably another two months of hot weather left, so theres still time for more. The thing that sucks is they are always deliberately lit. Our native trees are good, they actually regenerate after big fires. But theres always thousands of animals needlessly killed. Thats the part that pisses me off.
But so far so good, this summer !

are they lit by some crazy pyro, or do the aboriginies light them to clear old growth? (like they do in Africa)

is because its too hot for the motherfuckers to go outside
and light one!

Donk is correct, around the bigger cities they are always deliberatley lit. But you are correct about the Aborigines, they do burn sections of bush to regenerate it. Our native tress actually regenerate really well.
But even in the Aboriginal fires, animals are killed. (Although they
probably eat the cooked animals.)
