This has been a tough year for me. I lost a good job and my parents moved back to Ohio because they couldn't afford to live in Ca. anymore. But I have a plane ticket that will get me to Ohio at 11:46 p.m. Christmas day.......Pass the fucking potatoes!!!!!!!!!!;)

What a coincidence. I got a plane ticket, too. Connection in Ohio.

Haven't flown in ages though. Hope all goes well.

Uh Flappo.....

Not defending Katydud or anything, but just thought I'd point out the absurdity of you wishing AIDS on anyone while using an animated Freddie Mercury avatar. :(

I'd settle for Katy being bounced the hell off this site, never to be heard from again.

My prayers and best wishes, hun. Going thru that right now with someone, and it's completely not fun. I hope your friend is at least home for Christmas and not sitting in the hospital.

Mine's insisting to go back on treatment. He ended up in the hospital for two weeks cuz he unexpectedly took it really bad on the second dosage. The docs were floored cuz he was healthier than some of them going into it -- he just had cancer in his esophagus(sp). So now he's out of the hospital and enjoying some time off before starting again. I forget the name of the drug, but they said it was the strongest or the one with hte strongest side effects or whatnot, cuz he appeared he would be able to handle it. So now they're going to "play" with some other drugs and give him a different dosage.

My friend's father, on the other hand, was in remission for a year and going strong. Then one day he just falls down for no apparents reason and they have him in the hosptial. He's given up and is just waiting to die. What's really upsetting with him is that he had just remarried and has 3 kids, the oldest 7. :(

Got two friends with cancer myself at the moment. Both recently went through chemo, and one through radiation as well. For the moment, they both seem to be improving, but one of them had it so wide spread and the other has such a rare kind that it's basically incurable (he's already had one tumor cut out), so long range prognosis for either probably isn't all that great :(

And, as for myself, I got some nasty ass cold/flu/sinus infection going on, so it's looking like I'll probably spend Christmas alone for the first time in my life :(

So if I had my wish, it would probably be to sleep through the whole damned thing. Though that isn't likely, since I've slept a total of 3 hours in the last week :(

last Christmas i lost another friend to leukemia ( dec 26th). this time, its brain cancer...and whats worse is that his dad passed away last month. i dont understand why the guy has to suffer so much...it couldnt have happened to a nicer human being.

Umm... back to the one thing I wanted for Christmas... Here's a good story. For 3 years, I have always wanted a guitar. For those three years I have worked nonstop and saved my money to get one... Then, this morning, there was this HUGE box on the floor. I opened it and i found well... you know! I was so happy!! My parents even got me a Van Halen song book so i can learn the songs too!! I got the main riff from mean street down already!!
