Yeah, that song kicks major ass. The video for it was kinda weird, but good. Can't have something be a little out-there and be GOOD...OH NO! You probably saw that on VH1...I'm starting to hate that channel. I prefer VH1 Classic because they never bash any good music and they're always talking about the glory days.

They probably put it as a "bad metal song" because the video was a bit over the top.

the song is a great one, very sad and overwhelming but somehow not cheesy

only negative thing about is that slash didn't always quite hit it live, on some of the live recordings it didn't sound so good

Estranged is one of my favorite GNR songs.

Estranged is unconventional and has some of Slash's best guitar work. may not be suitable for mass consumption.


As far as live, GNR didn't always pull off a lot of songs live.

I spent money to see them live twice and both times got a shitty show.
