Okay...

the DBacks are apparently ready to pull the trigger on a deal that would send Vazquez to the Phillies for Randy Wolf...or to the Orioles for Eric Bedard, Jay Gibbons and Luis Matos (WOW)....

then...send Navarro and Halsey to the Dodgers for Shawn Green...

Damn...if they end up with Bedard, Gibbons, Matos and Green for Randy...they win...

I can't imagine that deal with the Orioles though...here would have to be others involved...

Green is going to continue to be the stickler in this thing in my opinion. Being from CA, and wants to stay there.

Not like Arizona is half way around the world.

I think he'll be fine...as long as Zona reworks his contract...

There are many...many scenarios in this deal...

Baltimore may be looking to rid themselves of Julio in the deal as well...

as well as that guy who did so well for them last year...the third baseman...for some reason...I can't remember his name...

No...not the rookie...the guy he replaced when he got injured...

I keep thinking Minnie Minosa...lmfao...Mota?...Mosa?...chripes...

Had quadruplets or something a few years back...plays a bunch of positions...

high batting average recently...

The old softball team looking White Sox unis?

Yeah, his average was unreal, especially for him, last year. Might be a good time to sell high.

Yeah...but if you are giving up 3 players for Vazquez...you aren't selling high...

I hear Detroit is interested in Vazquez...would be a good pickup for them...real good...an anchor in that young rotation...

In a big ball park, even after moving in the fences last season.

Still wondering on Lowe, what his deal is.

From the area, know we are interested.

Vazquez in Detroit....good fantasy sleeper pick

Not sure about run support though

Frankly...I'm surprised Lowe isn't signed somewhere...I wonder if HE'S holding out for more money...or if teams are wary of his struggles during the regular season last year...

I'd love to have the guy as a #3 or 4 guy...and if he goes back to normal...a #2...

Not to take away from Schilling, but Lowe's postseason performance is as much responsible for their championship as anyone on that team. He wasn't going to start at all, then turns in 3 great games, 2 in super pressure sitiations. But his struggles do make him a question mark.

Why would LA pull a deal like that for such a good player like Green??

Because Green no longer puts up the kind of numbers which warrant $16 million a year in salary. He's no longer the same hitter he used to be between 1999-2002.

Nowhere even close...

He can have a clutch bat still...and has streaks of unbelievability...

I mean...how many times does the fucker hit like 6 homers in 3 games...but then doesn't hit one for a month...

lmfao...

he used to be a stud...

now just a quality player...

no way deserving of 16 mil a year...but would fit nicely on the rebuilding D'Backs...
