How do you take a SCREEN SHOT???

I have to take a screen shot for my intro to computers class. What do you do to take one???

alt + printscreen.

go to Paint and paste it there.

Not following you. I see the print screen. But where do you paste it???

Hit the "print screen" key on your keyboard.

Then go to "start" - then "run" and type "mspaint.exe"

Hit "enter" - The hold the "ctrl" key and then hit you "v" key.

You should see your screen. You can save it as jpg or bmp among other common file types.

jpg is more efficient.

You sure ??? Always thought MSPAINT was BMP only..

I was going to say pressing Alt and F4 works good.... :D

Two options for screenshots: Either do the above copy and paste to a paint file and save it, or just paste it straight into a word document. Paint tends to lose quality, but pasting it straight into a word document should be ok.

that mini mac is kewl and cheap

you can pick one up for 300 bucks and add your keybored and screen

plus no viruses etc
