Well almost.

Check out what this lying POS had to say in this mass distributed media article.

http://www.grandforks.com/mld/grandforks/entertainment/10754370.htm

Friday, January 28, 2005 - Mars, 53, had hip replacement surgery in October. Mars long has suffered from ankylosing spondylitis, a degenerative rheumatoid disease. "I'm doing great," he said. "(The tour) is gonna be a piece of cake."

Righttttttt Spammy Mars

Shiteeeeeee, is the guy going to die on stage for an encore or what? Guarantee his whole guitar work will be nothing but a over-dub. You can tell he is in massive pain and totally doped up trying to control his disease, and rehabing from hip replacement surgery. Thank God, musicians don’t need a doctor’s clearance to Tour.

This 05 Crue Tour is another Clear Channel money grab joke just like the Van SpamBoys

Fuggedaboutit!!

Mars doesn't have enough muscles left/strength to hold his guitar much less play it.

Ok this sucks.

This dude has been fighting degenerative bone disease all his life. He did not chose to be like this. Do not compare him to EVH.
I think the dude is very courageous to even attempt this.
How do you think you would all look if your own skeleton was
progressively eating itself away ??? Pretty much like Mick does now.

Good luck to the dude. He's been fleeced by a lot of people in the
past, and is obviously in poor health. I hope he manages to pull
it off.

Look in the mirror and thankgod you dont suffer the same disease !

Have a nice day :p

I totally agree.......Sad to say the touring will wear him down for sure.

Who knows.......maybe if Mick figures he's goin down , at least he'll be doin something he loves to do rather than fade away a hospital bed.

Dude, no matter what, the poor fucker has an obvious disease.
You sir have an obsession about Motley Crue, their book and
how full of shit you think they are. What basis do you know that
they are speaking shit ??? You got a friend that knew them or
something ?? (Genuinely interested ! ) :)

Its only Rock and Roll. Good on em, I would be wishing you the same
if it was your hair band making a comeback !!

You should, you are still young enough. Look at poor old Mick and
tell me you still couldnt do it ??

Its so uncool picking on this dude about his disease, regardless of
all other external factors.

Yeah, I was going to go see this Crue Tour until I read about Tommy Lee bitching that the Tour needed to be put off to a later date because of Mars, and Clear Channel wouldn't do it.

Now I read this garbage Mars saying he is fine, .........forget about it.

I already did one CC freak show seeing Eddie and the Van SpamBoy's, not doing another CC freak show.

Ankylosing spondylitis is an extremely serious disease, who does Mars think he is kidding.

Well for one, I have always liked Mick Mars and thought he had some bad ass riffs that really "made" Crue.

Two, Panamark ya know, Mars isn't the only person around that suffers from a very serious internal disease he didn't cause, something I am well personally versed about Ok.

But for God sakes, get off the stage, don't screw your fans, and find other sources of income to fund you medical bills and life.

That's what "the mirror" says bro.

Mars:>>"I'm doing great," he said. "(The tour) is gonna be a piece of cake."

This, and Tommy Lee’s comments, is what really set me off (pissed me off), particular after the massive fraud Clear Channel and EVH pulled last year on music fans.

I think Tommy Lee is a really good guy deep inside, and he knows Mars trying to play right now is really wrong, and obviously is very worried about the guy trying to do this money grab Tour.

Ya know, if people wanted to pay big money to see Ali step in the ring one last time and get his brain’s beat out, and become totally disabled, well it’s a free country,………but I would never do it.

Also, I have seen the legendary blues/blues rock player Johnny Winters play live five (5) times. Guy never lied about his disease, (albinism), never lied to his fans, and always did the best he could for the fans, and that is the reason Winter’s has massive respect with his fans and within the music biz.

Mars could take some lessons from Winters, and others,.....that is all I am saying.

thanks typo/fatigue.......Johnny Winter

He always plays a super light weight Lazer because of his disease. Winter could hardly walk out on stage the last time I saw him, then blew the crowd away when he opened the set with "Johnny Guitar" and then played more of his greats!

Dude you only have to read that book. 4 different accounts of just about everything that happened, they can't all be telling the truth.

Sesh, I did read The Dirt. Very amusing. I think you are
missing the point. Its a big part of the book that the four
members had their own take on the situation, which always
seemed to be at conflict with each other.

Mick Mars is fucked up, always has been. Even since the early days
of MOtley Crue he just stood in the same posistion (due to his disease) however he did play what was required.

As fucked up as he is now, who is to say he cant do this. So I dont
think he is ripping off the fans, as thats the way he's always been.

As for the CRUE's integrity, yeah they sound like a pack of assholes
who thought only of themselves and did whatever the hell they
wanted. "Lets take as many drugs and women and people we can
along the way". Are they the first Rock band to do this ??

I would rather see this gig than Van Hagar, anyday.

Motley Crue were never my favorite band. But I respect original lineups actually getting back together. Which is why it is so fucking
frustrating being a Van Halen fan.

Well the Crue has been one of my favorites.

As far as I’m concerned Motley Cure was the #2 kick ass rock band/party band of the 80’s, (behind Van Roth) and put on some just killer concerts I attended. I have always said they filled the void left by the Van Roth crash, not that Crue was as good as Van Roth.

I saw Vince perform 3 months ago, and the guy looked great, put on a great Crue classic hits show, and sounded the best I’ve heard him since early Crue days.

So, I got my fix of Crue, if this is going to be nothing but a money grab tour, and Mars needs to stay home and heal, although I would like to see Tommy Lee play.

You mark my words, Clear Channel will continue to ballyhoo this original lineup Crue reunion Tour, to sell the hell out of shitty seat advanced tickets, then when the Tour starts, Mars will be replaced with another guitarist, “due to an unexpected turn for the worse in his AS”

I can just see it coming.

Got plenty of great bootleg Crue videos also, but speaking of Vince Neil,……….

he has the best amateur celebrity sex tape out there, imo, when he got it on with Janine Lindemulder (what a babe) and then later another chick joined in. Good stuff if you haven’t seen it. Never seen the “fancy box” version, only the 90 MB video I downloaded off the internet, which was good enough for me.

The Vince-Janine video blows away the Tommy Lee-Pam vid, imo.

I dunno, I like porn as much as the next guy, but back in the 80's I used to put bands pics like Crue, VH, ect on my bedroom walls (It may be lame now, but what rocker of the 80's didnt?), not really interested in seeing Vince's package while he bangs some hot chick, she does look hot though....

Motley Crue '87 Video
Girls, Girls, Girls - Live

"When good concerts, go bad"....TB

Off night for the Crue. Vince's pretty flat at the mic, the sound is all screwed up, and then the guy running the live camera mix gets pissed off at the Crue and tells the cameramen just to shoot the girls singing.

Mick Mars see this on the video monitors, and goes over and plays in between the chicks to get into the camera shot. This further pisses off the camera mix guy and he switches to the overhead camera and tells the operator to pull away from the girls, until Mars leaves which he finally does. Funny!

Haven't heard that before. I would think they might ask Steve Stevens, who played with Vince for a while and probably knows a lot of the Crue material.

But I think he's got other plans this year....

Major Steve Stevens fan, but the last two times I have seen him play I was not impressed. He still has the killer rocker image and FY attitude, but had lost a tremendous amount of playing ability and ability to work/run the frets.

Maybe he still fights the demons, which have been a problem for him. Also many rocker’s suffer from peripheral neuropathy because of drug abuse over the long-term, maybe he has issues in this arena. Not saying Stevens still cannot play at a respectable level, just nothing like his blazing past. I guess we are all getting old, uggg!

Don’t know who Vince had on guitar when I saw him in concert 3 months ago, but the kid was killer, and could play the Crue classic’s to the note and sound. Kick ass show!

Oh sure, it's all marketing fraud and bullshit. Nothing new in the biz for sure, just really gotten out of control the last several years because of those assholes at Clear Channel dominating the promotion business.

tomballin
02-04-2005, 12:16 PM
Ya know these musicians and promoters saying these musicians are in good health and can play, when in fact they got one foot already in a body bag is legal fraud and fradulent inducement to the ticket purchasers.

You mark my words, and it is already happening, major league lawsuits again the promoters and the bands, will be big business for the attorney's.

Clear Channel already got the hell sued out of them over the Van SpamBoys Tour, from a number of different sources. Nobody really knows CCE total loses on the SpamBoys tour because of all the potential liability from the lawsuits.

Yeah Mick has been dealing with this since before he joined Motley Crue....there is a very in-epth interview in the new issue of Guitar World. He is only 52 (He says) but some of the things he says he saw as a child ten to make him 10 years older than that in my book.
