I'm sorry, but there's too much CRAP in Kiss's music...
BUT... "I love it loud" may well be my one all time favorite by any band, after CVH.
Why Gene Simmons was not more often on vocalls??
I wanna hear it loud, I don't want no compromise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry NG but the house of music is for music that CANT' stand up to classic VH or DLR IMO KISS and classic VH are on the same rung.;)

Best studio tune may have been Psycho Circus. Best Live tune is tough because years ago in the 80’s KISS live did a cover of Whole Lotta Love that even Plant complimented. I like 100,000 Years a lot and on their website under mp3’s they have a concert version of this song. Cold Gin rocks too. I’d go with Deuce for Alive just because that was the tune that made me want to play guitar. The energy and mood was incredible on that tune. I’ve heard bootlegs that weren’t even close. There was nothing like the 1996 reunion tour and I’ve confirmed my thoughts as I sit here and peck. Deuce. Lick it up when you can.

"I love it loud" is simply too much. I was 11 when I first saw the vid on TV. The 2nd time, I "bootlegged" the music from my parents' TV, as they didn't have a VCR yet back then.
I was hypnotized by the tribal, ballsy, Injun-like backin' vocals ("He-he-he-hey-yeah! He-he-he-hey-yeah!"), great Gene Simmons's huge lead singing, those biggg axe simple but banging riffs, that straightforward drumming

"Parasite" is a killer track. Although I'd like to see "Unholy" be a classic track... that tune ROCKS.

Live version of Deuce absolutely smokes!! I also dig Love Gun, Lover her all I can, Makin Love, I want you, Oh and I love the Unplugged version of Comin' Home.
Mr. Speed is probably my all time favourite Kiss song and its probably the most underated in their entire catalogue. I've never met a Kiss fan that didn't like this song & yet they never play it live.
