This album is average, but not as bad as I thought it would be from reading reviews. It is a major drop off from Dave's best, ALAE, and it does have the worse Dave song (topping Stand Up), No Big 'Ting.

That said, my favorite song is She's My Machine. My other favorites are Cheatin' Heart Cafe (I love this song), Your Filthy Little Mouth, and, yes, You're Breathin' It Urban NYC Mix! Urban NYC Mix is a damn good night club song. I'm surprised that wasn't a minor hit with some of the dance stations.

Lands End, Breathing It, YFLM, Experience.

Overall a pretty good album. I didn't like the mixing job, though. I thought it could've been clearer w/ less distorted bottom-end.

I beleive this album grows on you. The more listens, the more you like it. I'd also reccomend reading the Tour Program (On this site, I beleive) to get some insight into the lyrical writing. Overall, this is Dave's strongest penmanship yet.

Experience is one of my all time fave Roth moments, those lyrics mean a lot to me for a lot of reasons (that I won't bore you with here).... but that slow bad ass shuffle gets me every time....
