has anyone ever experimented with or come across any chords that sound sort of "oceanic" in nature? Or maybe you blended certain things/sounds together and you got it. Just wondering...

Well uhhh, the 7 chords sound pretty oceanic I guess, but I don't really know what you mean by oceanic.

dont worry about it.
he's just lonely:rolleyes:
You can flip the high E and B strings over each other, fretting at the 4 or 5th fret, and pinching the split wide enough so that the 2 strings intersect further up about the 12th or 15th fret - then pluck it.
Sound like an ocean bell on a port buoy.. "toinggg.. toinggg.."
Michael Schenker can be heard doing this on the live recording for "Lost Horizons" on MSG Live At Budokan, that's the sound.

Or play any minor chord with alot of reverb (vintage fender if possible)
like Dick Dale.
