More Downsize!

Downsize played a gig at a local pub on the 5th Feb, and recorded it on a tape player :) The recording didn't come out too badly, so we've uploaded two different songs to:

The songs were normalized in Nero Wav editor then uploaded as MP3's.

Can see (or hear) a lot of potential there. Good work.

Try playing louder, though. Don't get me wrong, it sounds like you were playing at an acceptable volume, but you'll get noticed more if you crank it up just before the windows start shaking ('Only way to feel the noise is when it's good and loud'-Lemster).

I totally agree with you Shaun about volume, only problem is we dont have enough power in the Mic PA to match that of my guitar amp or Smaz's bass amp. I have a Hi Watt half stack just like Townsends and it was on about 5 for that show, any louder and it would totally dominate.

Saying that, the band that played after us had there vocals well loud. We are playing down there again in March so I think we'll need to turn it up to 11.

Let it dominate. DEMAND attention. Maybe you should start off at that level of volume, and then gradually turn up to 11. Let the windows shake and the glasses brake.
