Well, I don't particularly dig Sparks, but they did a cover of their own "Singin' in the shower" with the best ever (not difficult, but they're really great) French band: Rita Mitsouko. This is what made me know them.
To me, Sparks choosing Rita Mitsouko made them great right from the start.
