There have been an amazing mumber of posts here that made me bust a gut laffing.....but I do not know how to rate the post/thread/whatever. I checked the FAQs out and they were no help.

I don't think you can rate the posts or threads, but you can rate the user. Just click on the 'Profile' button on top of the post, and a window will pop up. Scroll down to the line that says 'Rating' and there's a pull down menu to the right of it that says 'Rate this user:'. Just give the number of stars that you think the user deserves and that's it.
