The list is probably correct, but sucks!

He should be playing more of his solo material, especially off Diamond Dave.

Why make a record if you aren't go to support that damn thing live?

He should at least play 5 off the new record and I don't even care of this Shoo Bop song.

then play a few VH classics, but don't let the list dominate your setlist. I've seen Dave every year since 99 and I was shocked to finally hear Just Like Paradise and Goin Crazy.
Dave has had a longer Solo career!
I would love to hear BLACK SAND LIVE as well as SHOWTIME, DROP IN THE BUCKET, etc.....
Instead of playing panama and jump everytime he hits the road.
It was very cool to hear DOA....I was surprised when I seen that on the list!

I'm tired of bitching...lol

It's a great set. One third of it is solo, which is fine. But a couple more would be nice.

At least he's putting more solo stuff into the setlist, but not enough. I'll never understand why he's played one song from each of the last two albums (Slam Dunk in 1999 and Shoo Bop currently). Is this a tacit admission that no one wants to hear his solo work anymore?

Yeah, and he only played Slam Dunk! for a handful of shows in '99 before ditching it.

Dave's got enough old favorites in his set to let fans forgive him for mixing in a few unknowns. Every band does it and Dave can get away with it. He just doesn't.

He should thow in:

The Bottom Line
Knucklebones
She's My Machine
Big Train
Slam Dunk
Goin Places (a personal favorite)

Sadly, DLR's had a solo career of amazing songs that most people just didn't "get".

For instance, "Shoot It" kinda reminds me of Aerosmith's "Dude Looks Like a Lady".

I'd love to hear "Sensible Shoes". My girlfriend loves that song. That song goes over most people's heads. It's just brilliant!

Dave needs to mix it up a little, and play some classic VH he hasn't played for a while.

Here is a few songs he should include with his list:

On Fire
ROMEO DELIGHT
FOOLS
IN A SIMPLE RHYME
HEAR ABOUT IT LATER
LITTLE GUITARS
THE FULL BUG
Somebody Get Me A Doctor
Light Up The Sky

Whatever Dave plays, it's still going to be a kick ass show.

Hi Guys,

Dave is playing here in London next week (Sat 28th) and I'll going along with some musician friends. It's been 10 years since DLR last played in the UK on the Filthy Little Mouth tour and I can't wait to see him this time.....will post a review for all of ya!
