Most of us who enjoy Metallica pretty much lean towards the earlier days...it's been discussed a lot in the other thread, so I'm simply putting up a poll to find out about your opinion: what's the most annoying/worst Metallica-song ever?

Eh? :cato:

Me - I've never been much of a Metallica-fan...I do enjoy some of their songs from the 80's and some bootlegs are pretty dahm tight, but they have never had the same effort on me like some of the other bands from that area of 80's metal like Megadeth, Anthrax etc...

Actually, the one song from the 90's Metallica I actually like really much is from the S/M album...one of the two new song - No Leaf Clover.

I do think it's a pretty decent and dark tune.

I hate every Metallica song after ...And Justice. OK, I like Enter Sandman.

It went wrong with songs like Nothing Else Matters. It went completely wrong with that awful Marianne Faithful thing (can't remember the title). When Kirk Hammett started to dress like Boy George and Hetfield tried to actually sing, it was over. Hated what they did to Whiskey In The Jar.

Fuck them and their therapist.

I love the old stuff, though.

No Leaf Clover without the orchistra might sound 80's...just a though. I love the Orchistra, but tune it out...you'll see...

I dunno.....I kinda tuned out after SLAYER or while SLAYER was around.

Cuntfusing?

Not really.

Anyway, I liked the Kill em all and ride the lighting stuff, but SLAYER was steadily kicking the living shit out of everybody back then.

The absolute worst was when dumbasses were marking out for the Seger cover tune.

I just lambasted the shit out of it on IRC without ever hearing it.

I cloned and cloned and reveled in the hate and eventually tried to kill 'em all.

That's all I'm gonna say about that.

One. . .I've never been able to get into it. It's Metallica trying to be deep. Also, I don't see why everyone raves about that solo. It's good, but nowhere near one of the best ever. Dyer's Eve has a cool solo.

Megadeth is far better IMO. Hetfield plays fast and tight, but he just chugs along. Dave Mustaine has an awesome sense of rhythm and syncopation in his playing.

Mustaine was responisble for at least the first two Metallica albums. IMO...

Hate from the BLACk album on.......

No CLIFF, NO METALICATS!

I remember going to parties in 84-85, putting METALLICA on the stereo and CLEARING the room. Lost their edge YEARS ago. Much like EVH, AVH & Mikey, they've been living off their past for decades!

St. Anger, the whole fuckin' thing. Hell, "Load" and "Re-Load" are better than that piece of camel shit!

Most songs on 'St. Anger', except the title track. It wouldn't be that bad if there was a solo on each track and if Lars wasn't playing Steel Drums.

Metallica is quite possibly the most overrated band of all time--I think their only decent song is 'Wherever I May Roam', the rest suck

Is that steel drums. I thought he was playing 55 gallon drums. Oh wait it sounds like he was playing inside of a 55 gallon drum.
