Other than Zep, Madonna, & Nirvana there's not much to disagree with. Sure, there's some who should be there but those are the only three who shouldn't.

Not only are some heavy hitters missing from this list, but there are some lame inclusions that they should have left out.

JUst saw the new issue with 51-100 last night. Didn't buy it.
CLASSIC VAN HALEN NO OWHERE to be found. FUCK 'EM!

AC/DC were on the list, but the silly fuckers used a pic with SIMON WRIGHT instead of PHIL RUDD! PHIL RUDD is the BACKBONE of AC/DC.
DOLTS!!!

I'm seriously thinking there are a lot of people who are still pissed off because DLR and the classic Van Halen took their ladies...I mean, there's some kind of eternal jealousy going on...nobody can be that blind!

I think the classic "The critics love Elvis Costello because they all LOOK like Elvis Costello" crack still gets the old gaurd at ROLLING STONE fired up at DAVE! I mean J.D. Constidine?!? FRICKE?!?

Rolling Stone has always hated Van HALEN, so this isn't surprising at all to me. But I am amazed that Queen wasn't included. Maybe it's because of the Paul Rodgers thing?

That's because any vote for VH runs the risk of being misinterpreted as a validation of Van Hagar.

No, because Rolling Stone likes Van Hagar. They couldn't wait to put them on the cover once the Chedmaster joined the band.

Notice how helpful Alex is being. He's pushing against his brother so that Mike can get maximum penetration!

Considine also wrote that VHagar article for Musician magazine back in '86.

I was thinking the exact same thing

FUCK ROLLING STONE! I hate the magazine with a passion. David Fricke doesn't know real rock n roll from the hole in Jack White's ass.
