Are there any Blue Oyster Cult fans out there? I recently heard them through a hippie neighbor of mine who was playing some of their stuff and thought it was fantastic. Anyway, I went out the next day and bought 'Essential Blue Oyster Cult' which is okay. One of those greatest hits condensed deals packaged solely for the money. The "hits" are there like ''(Don't Fear) The Reaper' and 'Godzillia' but can someone who is a fan of theirs reccomend me anything else by them? I would like to hear more of them then just watered-down hits.

Thanx

Shit baby, get Tyranny & Mutation.

Actually, get any of their early stuff from the 70s.

They wrote a song in the mid-90s called Still Burning that kicked ass...but it did not get recorded until 1998. I saw them play it live 2 years in a row.

Anyway, they rock.
:D

"Secret Treaties" is the only one I got. Powerful music, very cool.

The track "Dominance and Submission" is a fucking masterpiece.

The undisputed sci-fi, under the radar, geek-rock champions.

Intelligent, sometimes LOL funny lyrics....workshop of the telescopes is a decent catch all.

If L7 is covering your song, you gotta be either proud, cuntfused, or a good bit of both.

Definately geeky, especially if you have seen some of their videos.
