Figures were obtained by The Associated Press from management and player sources and include salaries and pro-rated shares of signing bonuses and other guaranteed income.

For some players, parts of salaries deferred without interest are discounted to reflect present-day values.

I'm amazed at the amount of cash sports generates..did i hear that EACH team on Monday Night Football this year gets paid $118 mil...EACH TEAM..that's crazy...what is the average team payroll??
