My 12 year old son was watching "MTV Cribs" yesterday, and I happened to come in as they were showing Vince Neil's house.

He has quite the collection of guitars mounted on the wall going up the stairs...
Anyway, at the top of the stairs, there is a portrait of a girl, and Vince says, " This is a portrait of my daughter (can't remember what he said her name was) when she was 5... she's no longer with us... she died 9 years ago, when she was 5.....she's still WITH us, tho...everyday....in our hearts."
Now, I never knew he had a daughter... let alone that she died at the age of 5...
Does anyone know how she died?? I was just curious, and hoping like hell, she was NOT in that car crash Vince was in that killed that one guitar player....

Yeah, pretty sad story.

To go at such a young age.

It wasn't lukeimia, it was a stomach tumor, that spread to her kidneys, and various other internal organs. She was raised in Simi Valley where there was some company burying tons of toxic waste. Yeah, pretty heartwrenching.

Her name was Skylar. Vince wrote a song for her on 'Carved in Stone.'

Welcome aboard, candy, even though it's a sad thread in which to do so.

Vince breaks down in interviews whenever this comes up. I've seen it on various interviews on VH1 several times. He can't handle this issue at all...with reason.

I remember hearing Vince talk about her, you can see how his heart breaks. She was a beautiful little girl. Sometimes it makes you wonder when children die you young and from such a troubling and horrible condition. I could handle burring a husband, but I would loose it if I had to bury my child.

Burying your own child is probably among the worst things a human being can experience.

Really sad...

I think the car accident and losing his little girl were the events that turned Vince from a famouse fuckup into a human being. I was watching some show on VH1 where they were dissing Vince over becoming too unlike a rockstar. It pissed me off. Hey Vince could have committed suicide over those things. So he gained some wieght, so he's a little more human than Motely Crue is suppossed to be. I think Vince is a winner. He's certainly better than those fucked Van Halen brothers.

Vince Neil to this day is a fucking alcoholic, abusive, self-important delusional prick. What happend to his daughter is beyond a tragedy, but the man is a walking piece of shit.

I don't think he was too upset about the car accident.
