the guy grew 2 hat sizes in his 30's.

He looks like a brickhouse now.
With all of his talk about not doing it,
Is there ahyone.. anywhere who really thinks he didn't take illegal steriods?

there is no doubt in anybody's mind that he took steroids.

I'm convinced he, and many, many others did. All the homers cannot be juiced ball and poor pitching.

without a doubt Barry did..look at Giambi & they shared the
same trainer, talk about runnin scared.

Sosa on the other hand i heard gets his illegal stuff
from his homeland & wont be exposed..
point is, it will catch up to everybody if they just enforce it!
Im all for that.

on the one hand, most athletes have better physical attributes than most of us to begin with. add in the fact that they can work out for a living, with highly paid, professional trainers and nutritionists, and i can certainly believe that they can add decent amounts of muscle.

however...i'm sure they're ALL talking some sort of supplements. the only question is how much and of what.

and from what i hear, human growth hormone can increase the size of your head, whereas normal exercise will not.

ultimately, i don't know on most ballplayers. maybe they do. maybe they don't. who knows. but i'm guessing barry's on HGH.

there's a reason why the players' union is so steadfast against meaningful steriod testing. and it ain't because they're afraid of a couple of positive marijuana tests coming in as an unintended result...

most people do get better with age. a 19-20 years old isn't as good as a 25-27 year old but once you hit in the 30's your perfromance does go down. most people do get bigger with age. they get fatter you don't add muscle.

Yeah, Barry's on the juice, no doubt. Like Va Beach pointed out with those baseball cards, he was a scrawny dude when he first started out with the Pirates, and was not much of a power hitter while he was there. When he went to the Giants, suddenly his size balloons along with his HR stats. It's too obvious. Same with McGwire, Sosa, and Giambi.

McGwire was always a home run hitter. he hit 49 his rookie year if i remember right. he's always hit hr's but in the late 90's in addition to hitting them he got BIG.

Barry Bonds is the only person on the planet who doesn't believe it.

No question, be it steroids or HGH, he's definitely on SOMETHING.
