Randy Rhoads has a more composed feel to his playing (I know he composed his solos) and EVH is more improvised.

Slash and Randy are awesome...but Frankly, it goes down to who did more, who does more, and who knows more collectively.

Now...

I would have said randy, because randy is classically trained, and in knoweldge of the guitar and theory alone, could probaly burry the likes of Eddie and Slash...But let's face it, we have, what, 3 albulms to really go about randy's work?

I'll give him credit, He got skills...He knows how to tap, and use that wah pedal alot...

But I haven't heard, seen, (both in GNR, Indy, and VR) work that makes me even think he's worth comparing to the likes of eddie or or Randy.

Shit they're all good. I've only seen Slash out of them play live so yeah slash. But that's a hard question. I'd liked to have seen Rhandy. But if Eddie gets his ass over I'd see him but only if Spammy isn't with him.

Eddie Van Halen back in the days of Roth.....1978-1985 was when Eddie was good because Dave seemed to push Eddie foward to do the best when Sammy joined he didn't seem to care anymore....Dave and Eddie had the chemistry,sammy and Eddie don't....slash is playing better guitar than Eddie today...hell even mr. Rhoads is playing better guitar then Eddie and he's dead so that doesn't say much for poor Eddie.

What a craze, this rock thing is. Randy got real stupid, bringing the house down the way he did, but when you look at the circumstances, RHOADES' DEATH WAS SUICIDE. Randy wasn't that hot, and I don't care if you are a fan or what.
