Always thought it was cool that they had the Van Halen patriarch on the clarinet.

the song has more of the CVH-spirit than everything past 1984...always loved it!

I've always liked the song and thought it fit in really well with the spirit of Diver Down. It's a great intro to The Full Bug, which I also think is a great song. I don't think I'd like BBB so much on any other CVH album.

ed's pops has a tremendous sense of melody...just like ed. ed's solos actually had little themes and melodies pop up that were outrageous! his dad was obviously the same way!

Even though it sounds like the band are having a laugh, BBB is a great display of the diversity CVH had goin' on.

yes it is. the ending of BBB perfectly segues into the full bug.

Definitely fun and definitely CVH at it's unpredictable best...
The World's Greatest Rock N Roll Band was as diverse as they come...
DLR wouldn't have had it any other way!

It rocks harder than anything off of ou812.
Great fucking track. Further proof that the original line-up had 100 times more sophistication and originality than the cheese rock that came after 1984...
Another reason I think DIVER DOWN is super underrated...
