Thanks!

This show was more or less a professional recording. The syndicated King Biscuit radio program had it on the air in the late 70's, and the Vinyl and CD boots of the show have been circulating ever since.

It's always been one of my favorite live performances from the Stones, even though I prefer the Mick Taylor era for live stuff overall.

I need to convert Bedspring Symphony. That's the gratest Stones boot ever.

Midsouth Colisseum...been there many, many times. It is a GREAT sounding arena...too bad they don't use it for much anymore.

Many, many thanks. This not just pretty good, it's fantastic!
I have a good dozen Stones boots myself, and above all one of Dave's (1999 in Finland, which I've never seen in this forum), and if anybody cares I can upload it within a fortnight, as one of my buddies, who is a computer wizard - which I am not - is on holiday and can help me do it properly...
I need to bring my contribution.

And here's your 100th 5-star vote! :D
I can't believe I hadn't voted for you yet. Surely because it seemed too obvious, I guess... :)

How did y'all llikes that Hound Dog right nah yez yez yez?? From what I can recall at the age of 98 and a half, I don't think King 'Vis was too big a fan of The Rolling Stones...not sho' what Big Mama Thornton thought of 'em, either...

this IS pretty good quality for 1978. I'm impressed. As for the setlist, I would have expected much better from them. Although this was their rough point, as it was for Aerosmith about the same time.

A friend of mine saw Judas Priest at Mid-South Coliseum when they filmed their first official live concert vid back in 1982...

Thanks for those!

When is Bedspring Symphony from?

Someone on this site long ago claimed that Brussels Affair was the greatest Stones boot....I got it...and still can't deny it. :)

Did you look @ the streamload site? They might have a free option, but it works on downloads so the free deal could exhaust itself pretty quick.

Is that "Bedspring Revisited" you got? There's a few different versions.

Make it happen bro!

Its called Brussels Affair 1973

From the first show of that tour...and a couple of tracks are from a different show altogether

...I have about all of the Stones studio/live albums and this bootleg is by far the coolest thing I have heard from them, different from anything else. Apparently, they let Mick Taylor PLAY in a live setting :D

I will convert them to Mp3 tonight...

(i think) Rapidshare only allows you one download per hour or some shit. I may try angelfire if thats the case...I may have to open about 2-3 accounts to get it all...:D

Oh yeah....the version of Midnight Rambler on this is STRAIGHT BADASS

Bedspring Symphony is a compilation of the 73 tour. Like this Memphis show, it was also recorded by the King Biscuit Flour Hour, as was the Brussels show. So some of the songs on Bedspring and Brussels are the same performance. Other Bedspring songs are from shows in London and I forget the third location. Possibly Australia, since there are some good soundboards from that show too.
