I have been listening to both alot lately and I can't decide myself I love them both.

So whats it gonna be if you had to choose Fair Warning or Women and Children First?

I think I'm leaning more towards WACF myself, I dunno why I just like it more. LOL

Both are great albums though.

They both are part of my 6 favorite. :D

But WaCF is the one I most often play these days. So, this one, by an inch.

It's their toughest album IMO. It all got a little harder then.

Today, WACF. Most days, Fair Warning.

Too close to call. Take your Whiskey Home (WACF) and Dirty Movies (FW) are some of my less commercial faves.

Plus, I think anyone that was around when these came out also thought "gee, this band just keeps surprising me".

should have been a double album could you imagine both albums resequenced? Would have been a masterpiece..however if I have to pick one over the other Fair Warning it is.

Fair warning...I thought WACF was sort of a half assed effort after VH2, not nearly as half assed as diver down...but seriously, I only like 3 songs on WACF, were as I like nearly every track on fair warning.

Fair Warning is WAAAY better.. If it wasn't for "everybody wants some" women and children first would be a waste of my time...

I have to disagree. All tracks kick ass on WaCF, especially, beyond "Everybody wants some!!", "Fools", "Romeo Delight" and "Take Your Whiskey Home".
It's VH's hardest album, and Dave's lyrics fucking kicked ass too!

I see WaCF as Vh's "Beggar's Banquet", whereas FW would be their "Let it bleed". They both are the same value, but the former has more guts IMO.

WACF currently.

The intro to "Fools" is a hall-of-famer.

I had a shitty ass fucked up day today so I would have to go with Fair Wairning for my dark mood.

Speaking of the hall of fame, whatever happened to the rock and roll hall of fame sh/t that was suppose to have van halen reunite?

i like both albums...but i'd have to go with FW because it is dark and it has a don't fuck with me attitude and that is how i feel alot of the time...and it also has unchained on it

I thing Sinners Swing and Loss Of Conbtrol should change places.

Fair Warning, even though the last two songs are basically throwaways.

I don't think they were throwaways. I think it was more of a case of misplaced snyth experimentation.
