Legendary rock guitarist Ritchie Blackmore & vocalist Ronnie James Dio will reform Rainbow for a reunion tour in the summer of 06 along with a new album. Blackmore & Dio have been in talks for years about reforming Rainbow again but they had other commitments at the time so the reunion tour is on.

Though back in 1998 I had a chat with Ritchie's former Tour Manager who said yes they do stay in touch.....

Blackmore isn't doing shit except sitting around playing acoustic guitar and getting fat. Who the hell would care about a Rainbow reunion with Dio? That was one of the least successful incarnations of Rainbow and I doubt any combination of all the members who played in that band would sell 1000 copies nowadays.
