Who's the crazy person who voted Malmsteen? In that list or any list for that matter nobody beats Vai!

i voted Malmsteen for some reason.

Vai still rules, but i just love Malmsteen's playing style

If you like it fair dues, it's all just scales and classical pieces thrown in. But I can see why some people like that! Just not my cup of tea!

I like them both. Two different styles. Two different personalities. Yngwie can also play some mean blues. He's got great feel and he can do a lot more than just play fast classical scales.

Steve Vai is more of some wierd spiritual being. Kind of like Hendrix in a way I guess. Sometimes I think Steve gets a little too far out there though.

Malmsteen was one of the few guitarists to come up with something new after EVH. Malmsteen had almost the same impact as EVH, and ifluenced many many guitarists.

It's a tough choice, for me, to decide between Vai or Malmsteen.

kinda like my list but take our hendrx add SRV and switch vai and edd
