None of Dream Theater's other albums (incl. the new one) are even half as good as Metropolis Pt.2: Scenes from a Memory. That album blows me away everytime I hear it. One of the best albums by any band ever IMO.

Judas Priest! Kool. The 2 shows (besides DLR) I am going to see this year are DT / Megadeth and Priest / Queensryche. What a rockin' summer this will be!!! The best of Prog meets the best of Metal. And it's all in the face of the meaningless drivel out there by today's worthless (read: Nickleback, et all) bands.

Overblown story. Supposedly a couple of bands were kicked off a European festival by promotors after Mustaine said he didn't know if he would play on the same bill. One of the bands, I recall, was Rotting Christ, big loss. :rolleyes:

Mustaine never kicked them off himself. The promotors knew Megadeth would be the ones bringing in the people.

Mustaine only said he would rather not play on the same bill as outright Satanists. I doubt if any of the bands on Gigantour are "Christian" so everybody relax.

The new DT album sucks (except for the last song: the 24 minute unbeleiveable Octivarium). But if you've never seen them live, it's well worth the coin.
