Interesting theory. And a smaller jet, such as the A3 certainly makes more sense than a Boeing 757 in the first WTC tower hit as well. Never did think that looked like a 757.

It's always been my contention that a 757 was only chosen for the second tower hit because they knew that one would be the ultimate media photo op, with live cameras from every network on the planet pointed right at the target when it happenned.

There is no footage of the Pentagon "crash" nor of the shooting down of Flight 93 in Pennsylvania, and only the Naudet brothers footage of the first WTC hit, which was unexpected on their part, and only caught the last second before impact, on a camera that wasn't properly focused to give an accurate picture of the plane. However, the angle at which it dropped into the building and the size of the impact hole suggested a much smaller plane, as did all the initial media reports of the first crash.

the military, who has about a million (minus the latest BRAC closings) bases, chose to do highly classified work on military planes at a civilian airport.
