Any grate ideas for the PUNCH of my graduation party next weekend?

I'll be having my graduation party next weekend - saturday the 4th ( all Army members are welcome! :cato2: )

Any favourite punch you like to make?

I prefer the ones that are not too sweet...it has to be fresh, however, it has to have some power too.

It'll probably be something pretty simple based on vodka, maybe some liquor or red wine, like in sangria, then some soda or/and fruit drink...but what do you people prefer?

Well, you've been in Spain... hope you got the recipe for sangria, chicks REALLY dig that. Can't understand why, though... Later on, if you get them in the mood, you may convice a couple of 'em to drink tequila with you. With the salt and lemon, you know the drill. Tequila boom boom. They might be reluctant at first, but after three or four shots, you can't stop them. Let's just say that the last time I did this - it was only me and three other grrrls - one girl was desperately trying to get into the pants of another. But of course, as I said, you may want to separate one or two from the group... but I guess I don't need to be telling you this, banana cowboy. :D

You can't mess with stuff like that...it has been known to kill...Don't need a "real gone" party. That reminded me of an antique hearse I saw cruising during the Founders Day event this weekend. Was long, black and looked more like a flatter version...said on the back window, "real gone."

As far as the performing aspect of your punch:

Have you ever heard of "Everclear"?
It is a flavorless extremely potent grain alcool.
The American equivalent to "Grappa", "Huzo" or "Heiger Myster" (wrong spelling) as far as strenght.

When you pour it in a drink, no one can taste it but they can sure feel it....

The clear alcools like vodka and gin are also better to mix with fruits.


As for the taste:

It is a good idea not to make it too sweet. The sugar is what makes people sick, not the booze (well... hum).

Try to use soury fruits like: grapefruit, natural orange and avoid the red fake juices.
Adding club soda will give it some sparkles.

You can add some lemon slices and ho, don't forget the red cherries!

Killer party fruit salad...
(The mornin' after breakfast) L.O.L.

Chop all your favorite fruits in cubes and let them marinate into ONE of the above mentioned alcools for 24 hours (in the frig.).

Put just enough alcool to cover but not so it's like a soup.

When you take it out to serve, add a little clear soda, like Sprite or if you want to go all out and get really smashed; some more of that same alcool.

Caution: This is very potent because of the fermented fruits... that shall get you shit faced, guaranteed!

Jungle Juice AKA Jonestown Punch!

Get a new trash can.

Wash it out throughly.

Admission to the party is one pint of any booze and one can of mixer. (don't forget to add water to the ones that need it!)

The mixed fruit idea is good or just cut a small round hole in a watermelon. Fill with a pint of grain liquor and replace the plug. Store in fridge overnight.

The hair of the dog is in the melon!

Everclear or Golden Grain and generic kool-aid. The shittier the better. You can doll it up with fruit slices and shit, but blackouts WILL happen.

Focus on the amount of GRAIN ALCOHOL you put in the kool aid.

cut up fresh pineapple, oranges, lemons and limes put them in a huge bowl filled with ice, then add a bottle of everclear, a bottle of citrus vodka, orange juice, pineapple juice, cranberry juice and sprite. It fucks you up and tastes like a million bucks. :)

Yesss...I'm familiar with our version of Everclear, but I don't have time to get it now...I should go to Estonia or the black market, and I don't trust the russian 95% alcohol stuff...it makes people blind, every now and then...some have even died.

I'll probably go with my version of Sangria my version of Jungle Juice, so thanks for the tips and reminding me of all grate stuff, folks.

way way back when i was but a lad, my buddies and i used to make a party punch we called "mastermix"....

This is a secret recepie, but I think the DLRArmy has a right to know...also, it's been well over 20 years so it can be declassified now..

Get a 5 gallon bucket, clean it well....

Open a giant bottle of Everclear grain alcohol 180 proof...Now before starting everyone involved with the mixing must take a straight swig of the grain, this is a ritual requirement. To begin, splash some of it on the inside of the bucket and swish it around to baptise and sterilize the bucket...(even tho the bucket is already clean this is also a ritual requirement)

dump out the cleansing agent.....then pour in the whole bottle of everclear...

Now add 5 of the big cans of hawaiian punch (it's gotta be genuine Hawaiian Punch...Ohh yeahh!)...oh, you will need one of those hole-punch style can openers for this.

Then add 5 bottles of the 2 litre variety 7-Up (similar to Sprite)

Add various sliced fruit......MIX WELL...

Serve in any cups handy using an average sauce pan as a ladel. Pour into the cups OVER THE BUCKET so as not to waste any.

Be careful not to drink it too fast........it goes down incredibly smooth and is VERY decievingly strong.....very hard to resist drinking it fast because it's like candy. Not only that but you'll already be fucked up from the swig at the beginning.

Make sure you have nowhere you need to be for three (3) days minimum.

Oh, and don't drink and drive :p especially after drinking this shit. (disclaimer)

Oh man...quite a party...I ended up doing the punch in a sangria-kinda way, with vodka, red wine and some lemon and mized fruit soda, and pieces of apple, orange and water melon...it turned out amazing.

I had about 18 visitors in my apartment...11 of them grrrls, and each of them was hooot...UFF...youngest ones were 17...OHH...personally I was drinking from 3:00 PM on saturday until 7:00 AM in the sunday morning...niiice...
