Every classic Van Halen video, especially Unchained.

Other than VH:
Sour Girl - Stone Temple Pilots

The background in Black Sabbath's video for Iron Man is pretty cool but the video itself isn't anything all that exciting.

Panama, Hot For Teacher and Jump..

Crazy Train (from Tribute)

God Save the Queen, Sex Pistols.
Lots of the old AC/DC clips... (Bon Days)
Paradise - DLR

The Runaway Train filmclip, (Soul Asylum)
it ended up with a list of names missing at the end of the clip.
Half of them later turned up as bodies in one of our national parks
at the hands of a mass backpacker murderer. Still gives me chills
when I see that clip now, even though the names have now been
removed. I drive past the site where these bodies where hidden
on some country trips.

ALL of Dave's solo delirious vids (my nb 1: "A little ain't enough", too cool to see him back in such a shape, back then), and the CVH years ("Hot for teacher" above all).

The Stones' "It's only rock 'n' roll", under the tent with the bubble machine, everybody in the band is stoned, and the machine works too hard so that Charlie Watts has bubbles up to his nose, making everybody hilarious.

The Stones' "Start me up" (where have all the good CBS videos gone by the way???). Their very last killer single. It seems Bill Wyman didn't really know the words, as just when Jagger goes "You'd make a dead man cooome...", there's a close-up on his face, and he starts laughing heartily. I'm fond of this kind of moments.

To me, a good one has got to be funny. The Who's videos are never deprived of humour either.
But my favourite videos are those of Madness (remember, the nutty, nutty boys?): "Night boat to Cairo", "House of fun", "Driving in my car", "Wings of a dove", "One step beyond", "Uncle Sam", and (from their fine 1999 album, "Wonderful") "Johnny the horse" and "Drip fed Fred" (with late Ian Dury), pure entertainment...
It may not be rock 'n' roll, but these videos are musts IMO.

I think they sell the Pretenders videos these days, and I'd get them just to see that of "Middle of the road" again. Sheer rock 'n' roll spirit there.

Wendy O riding the bus rodeo style through a wall of tvs...!

Soundgarden's "Black Hole Sun"

Tom Petty's "Runnin' Down A Dream"

Judas Preist - "Hot Rockin'"

Any Weird Al...he gets 'em all!

ANY CVH!

I was lucky enough to catch Accept's "Balls To The Wall" video on VH1 classics the other day.

Fucking Udo cracks me up. That bit at the end with him riding the wrecking ball into the wall is hee-larryious.
