    Guess the lyric

The only rule is that you don't put in the chorus, because that will give it all away like a big bitch.

    Start with an easy one.

"There she stood in the street
Smiling from her head to her feet
I said 'Hey, what is this
Now baby, maybe she's in need of a kiss'
I said 'Hey, what's your name baby
maybe we can see things the same
Now don't you wait or hesitate
Let's move before they raise the parking rate'

I took her home to my place
Watching ev'ry move on her face
She said 'Look, what's your game baby
are you tryin' to put me in shame?'
I said 'slow don't go so fast,
don't you think that love can last?'
    She said 'Love, Lord above,
now you're tryin' to trick me in love' "

Now, for something a little more difficult.

        "Born in the night
She would run like a leopard
        That freaks at the sight
Of a mind close beside herself
        And the nearer I came
        How the country would change
        She was using the landscape
        To hide herself.

        More in the mind
        Than the body this feeling
        A sense at the end
        Of a circular line
That is drawn at an angle
I see when Im with you
To navigate waters and finally answer to-yes.

If you were there you would want to be near me
Innocence, you could hold all the materials
And though nothing would really be living
It would shock your fall into landing light
In the north sky time flies fast to the morning
The cold of the dawn it meant nothing to us
You were keeping your best situation
        An answer to-yes

(yes, yes) and the moment I see you
(yes, yes) its so good to be near you
(yes, yes) and the feeling you give me
(yes, yes) makes me want to be with you
(yes, yes) from the moment you tell me - yes

If you could see all the roads I have travelled
        Towards some unusable last equilibrium
Run like an athlete and die like a dead beaten speed-freak
An answer to all of your answers to-yes

In the north sky time flies faster than morning
The cold of the dawn it meant nothing to us
You were keeping your best situation
        An answer to yes

(yes, yes) and the moment I see you
(yes, yes) its so good to be near you
(yes, yes) and the feeling you give me
(yes, yes) makes me want to be with you
(yes, yes) if we wait for an answer
(yes, yes) will the silence be broken
(yes, yes) should we wait for an answer
(yes, yes) do we leave it unspoken

        (yes yes yes yes . . .)"

There is a clue in the lyrics somewhere.

Very good, wasn't expecting an answer so quickly for that one.

Like the way you didn't say by Yes, as well. Without Jon Andeson, there is no Yes.

            NEXT-

"Well Billy rapped all night about his suicide
How he kick it in the head when he was twenty-five
Speed jive don't want to stay alive
            When you're twenty-five
And Wendy's stealing clothes from Marks and Sparks
And Freddy's got spots from ripping off the stars from his face
            Funky little boat race
Television man is crazy saying we're juvenile deliquent wrecks
Oh man I need TV when I got T Rex
            Oh brother you guessed

Now Lucy looks sweet cause he dresses like a queen
But he can kick like a mule it's a real mean team
But we can love oh yes we can love
And my brother's back at home with his Beatles and his Stones
We never got it off on that revolution stuff
What a drag too many snags
Now I've drunk a lot of wine and I'm feeling fine
Got to race some cat to bed
Oh is there concrete all around
Or is it in my head
            Yeah"

                  OK, more difficult.

BTW, I also would have accepted Mott The Hoople for 'All The Young Dudes'. David Bowie wrote it for Mott and then recorded a version himself.

                  "Were you ever lost?
                  Were you ever young?
Were you ever safe little brother?
Do you see the sense of the evidence?
Are you still part of the struggle?
                  Did you bang your head?
                  Did you go to bed?
Does it still feel pretty funky?
                  Lay back and dream,
                  In the death machine,
Pity you still think like a monkey

                  Did you ever lie?
                  Ever wonder why
                  Nobody believed you honey?
                  What a pretty smile,
                  Drove the people wild,
Wonder who ran off with the money,
                  Do you ever change?
                  Is it gonna rain?
Will it bring you pennies from heaven?
                  Do you know the score?
                  What are you waiting for?
                  Anxious for the new Armageddon?

                  Marbles in your mouth,
                  What's it all about?
Do you know the name of the winner?
                  If I was to go,
                  Would you let it show?
Life is not a TV dinner,
                  If you dream of me,
                  Will you ever see?
Do you want a piece of the action?
                  If I wasn't sure,
                  Would you do it more?
Help me to achieve an erection"

'Love me do,' I think it was. From there it didn't take him long.
Got himself a guitar, used to play every night,
Now he's in a rock 'n' roll outfit,

And everything's all right, don't you know?

Johnny told his mama, hey, 'Mama, I'm goin' away. I'm gonna hit the big
time, gonna be a big star someday', Yeah.
Mama came to the door with a teardrop in her eye.
Johnny said, 'Don't cry, mama, smile and wave good-bye'.

Johnny made a record, Went straight up to number one,
Suddenly everyone loved to hear him sing the song.
Watching the world go by, surprising it goes so fast.
Johnny looked around him and said, 'Well, I made the big time at last'.

Johnny died one night, died in his bed, Bottle of whiskey,
sleeping tablets by his head. Johnny's life passed him by like a
warm summer day, If you listen to the wind you can still hear him play"

That's Very Easy one!!! The name of song(2 worrds) starts with "s" and ends with "r."
The name of artist (2 words also) starts with "B" and ends with "y."

But let other people have a chance...so i am bumping this up for you.
