I can't stand to see a perfectly good '68 Charger get used abused and refused like that anymore.
They are way too fucking hard to come by to suffer such horror, lol.

I just watched the trailer for the new Dukes of Hazzard movie and it pissed me off to know that mere months ago they were throwing 69's through the air like that, Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

At $10,000 for a rust bucket with no drive train, that is now a sin to us Mopar Maniacs.

However, Bullit is a kick ass flick.
Steve McQueen was awesome, for a Ford guy that is, lmmfao.

Hey no prob....I had a couple of minutes before the chase began, and I figured I would decorate the thread appropriately....so I just did a quick Google...and voila!

I LOVE Dodge Chargers. I always wanted a 1972 SE.

Not being rich, I can't afford one...YET!

He ran the shit out of the Mustang though LOL!

That Charger in the flick (or THOSE ChargerS) looked badass....

I dig the one in the Wesley Snipes Blade films...it looks like a mean muthafuckah....

Blade '68 Charger

Here was an item about it on some Blade page:

Goyer also scripted a scene where Blade was racing his black 1968 Dodge Charger, but it was never filmed for budgetary reasons and because the production moved to Prague. He was quoted saying... "We never really used the Charger in any real kind of action sequences, and I always loved that sequence. I literally took that nine-, 10-page sequence and made it the beginning of this movie. It was its own thing, and so it would work in either [film]. ... This whole long extended car chase scene, where Blade is in the Charger, there are vampires in cars and on motorcycles with machine guns, it's just mayhem, and the cars are rolling over and exploding, and he's running vampires down. ... I'm a big fan of the car chases in The French Connection and Bullitt, so it was done very old-school. I like it. It's got this kind of '70s feel to it. It's decidedly not Michael Bay."
