I cant figure that out ? If Hagar is back, you would think he would reintroduce it and/or start telling us what cockheads the Van Halens are. (Maybe another open letter). Did anyone
ever find out exactly why he changed his mind ?

My guess is that he wasn't going to win.

Cheers!

No one knows for sure, but sesh's guess is probably the right one.

Well thats not a very enthralling outcome ! :(
I was hoping at least there was some communications between them all.

While it may seem inequitable that Mike was getting more per album than Roth as I understand it that would be irrelevant in contract terms.

The three of them negotiated a better deal from Warner Bros than Roth that's the end of it. They probably could because they had the power of their future Van Hagar releases as a bargaining chip.

It's like if a football player got paid more than the quarterback. It's up to the individual to negotiate for themselves especially once the band splits.

The fact that it is patently unfair is besides the point in legal terms.

The reason it took so long was probably because it took ages to wade through the web of contracts.

Just my thoughts...

Cheers!

Actually from what i heard. The intruder that Dave apprehended with his shotgun was actually Alex Van Halen looking for Daves stash of weed.

What has this got to do with dropping the lawsuit?

Well it seems Alex worked something out with Dave.:D
